Discontinuing Xdox in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. Yes, Xdox can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine inform the doctor immediately and check if you can discontinue the medicine. Try keeping yourself hydrated, drink plenty of fluids and take ample rest.
