The disease can be controlled by altering the diet and eating more of fibre and less of fats, alcohol, caffeine and spicy food. Increasing physical activity and reducing stress can also help greatly.
Yes, Vomirun is safe to be used in children from 6 months to 12 years of age. Apart from preventing nausea and vomiting related to chemotherapy and radiation, Vomirun can be used in this population group for managing acute gastritis. Acute gastritis presents itself as a self-limited infection with vomiting leading to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances. Always check with a child specialist and do not administer this drug yourself.
Vomirun is available in form of tablet, syrup, and injection. It should be taken as per your doctor's instructions. Ideally, Vomirun has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset.
