Yes, Vomalthea can be taken with pantoprazole as there are no records of any drug interaction. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor which is used for treating acidity. Acidity can be managed by avoiding eating acidic and spicy foods, avoiding smoking, and avoiding sleep within 3 hours of taking meals.
Vomalthea is available in form of tablet, syrup, and injection. It should be taken as per your doctor's instructions. Ideally, Vomalthea has to be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. The initial dose is usually taken half an hour before chemotherapy, 1 to 2 hours before radiation therapy and 1 hour before a surgery. Additional doses can be suggested by the doctor as per the individual requirements.
Yes, Vomalthea may cause drowsiness because this drug has been reported to induce sleep. Ensure you do not drive or do some high precision work. To avoid excessive drowsiness with this medicine you are encouraged to take adequate night-time sleep, keeping distractions out of the bedroom, going to sleep and getting up at consistent times, eating light at lunchtime, putting in some form of a physical activity, avoiding taking naps during the day, and avoiding alcohol at night.
Yes, headache is one of the common side effects of Vomalthea. Apply balms and take a mild painkiller if a headache is of throbbing nature. Additionally, headaches can be prevented by doing yoga and meditation, by keeping away from electronic gadgets and computers, by eating light food and listening to relaxing music.
It is not recommended that you discontinue taking Vomalthea on your own. Discontinuing Vomalthea may lead to unwanted side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy such as excessive vomiting. You must speak to your doctor first as this will help you to take an informed decision.
