Valparex is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Epilepsy. Other than this, Valparex has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The correct dosage of Valparex depends on the patient's age, gender, and medical history. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

The most common side effects of Valparex are Loss of appetite. While these are the most often observed Valparex side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Such side effects of Valparex normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Valparex has a Severe effect for pregnant women and Mild effect on lactating mothers. Warnings related to Valparex's effects on the liver, heart and kidney, if any, have been listed below.
