Ursoford regulates the levels of cholesterol by impeding its absorption through the intestine and by breaking the cholesterol molecules. Because of this reason, it is used to treat gallstones non surgically.
During clinical trials, few reported cases in animal studies with impaired fertility have been associated with Ursoford. Hence nothing can be ascertained in humans due to lack of evidence.
