The optimal dosage of Trumit is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.
The side effects typically associated with Trumit include Drowsiness, Dizziness, Bloating or fullness. While these are the most often observed Trumit side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Trumit go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Interaction between Food and Trumit
It is safe to take Trumit with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Trumit
Taking alcohol with Trumit can be dangerous.
Taking Trumit with fluoxetine could increase the amount of serotonin in your body. This could lead to serious medical complications. Please consult your doctor before taking them together.
Yes, Trumit can be taken with paracetamol. No harmful interactions have been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking these two medicines together, please consult your doctor.
No, It is not advised to take Trumit with tramadol until and unless you have been prescribed to take it by a doctor. There have been some reported cases of seizures and other medical complications when taken together.
Taking Trumit with diazepam can increase the risk of drowsiness and sleepiness. Breathing difficulties have also been reported. Hence, avoid using these two medicines together until and unless prescribed by your doctor.
Discontinuing Trumit on your own can cause withdrawal symptoms. However, if you decide to stop it, then stop it slowly, and gradually. Do not stop suddenly.
