Yes, Trich might lower blood pressure (hypotension). It is a rare side effect of this drug. If you are experiencing dizziness or lightheadedness after taking this drug which is a symptom of low blood pressure, then you are advised to lay down immediately till it subsides and drink salty water.
Yes, Trich may cause diarrhoea but this occurs in a few cases only. However, the exact cause behind diarrhoea is unknown. If you are experiencing severe diarrhoea after taking this drug, discuss it with your doctor immediately without any further delay.
Yes, Trich can be taken with ibuprofen. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. It is safe to take Trich along with ibuprofen if it does not exceed recommended doses.
Trich contains chlordiazepoxide which works by calming the brain through increasing the activity of an inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) that decreases the abnormal brain activity which provides relief to the patient from anxiety and tension.
Yes, Trich causes withdrawal symptoms when the drug is suddenly discontinued after long-term treatment.
