Tidoxyl is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet, Capsule. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Bacterial Infections, Throat Infection, Upper Respiratory Tract Infection. Other than this, Tidoxyl has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Interaction between Food and Tidoxyl
Taking Tidoxyl with food does not cause any problems.
Interaction between Alcohol and Tidoxyl
Drinking alcohol while taking Tidoxyl may lead to slight side effects. If you experience any side effects, contact your doctor.
Tidoxyl should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote resistant bacteria which result in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 3 - 7-day course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Tidoxyl can be safely taken as prescribed by your doctor. Do not discontinue the medicine suddenly or take it longer than prescribed duration.
Yes, Tidoxyl is safe to use, if taken prescribed quantity for the prescribed duration as directed by a doctor.
