Terfen Am is a prescription drug, available for use as Syrup. Terfen Am also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The optimal dosage of Terfen Am is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Terfen Am also has some side effects, the most common being Constipation, Heartburn, Nausea or vomiting. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Terfen Am as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Terfen Am go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

In addition, Terfen Am's effect is Moderate during pregnancy and Moderate for lactating mothers. In addition, Terfen Am's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Terfen Am related warnings section.
