Spasmodex Information

Spasmodex is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Abdominal Pain, Stomach Pain. Other than this, Spasmodex has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

The optimal dosage of Spasmodex is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Spasmodex also has some side effects, the most common being Nausea or vomiting, Dry Mouth, Blurred vision. These side effects of Spasmodex are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. However, if these continue for a longer time, consult your doctor right away.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Spasmodex is Moderate for pregnant women and Moderate for women who are breastfeeding. How to take Spasmodex?

Spasmodex is available as a tablet, capsule, syrup and an injection. An oral dosage form is taken a few times a day. It is important to take Spasmodex at the same time every day so that one doesn't forget the dose. One can take Spasmodex with or without food. Taking it with food may avoid stomach upset. One must follow the recommendations of a doctor while taking Spasmodex. In some people, it might cause some side effects like dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, headache, blurred vision, etc.
