Afdispas Information

Afdispas is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Abdominal Pain, Stomach Pain are some of its major therapeutic uses. Afdispas also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Headaches can be prevented or managed by drinking adequate amount of water, taking ample magnesium, limiting alcoholic drinks, taking adequate sleep, avoiding foods high in histamine, using essential oils, taking B-complex vitamin, using a cold compress, trying acupuncture, relaxing with yoga and meditation.

Yes, Afdispas causes nausea and vomiting as side effects. Nausea and vomiting can be prevented and managed by trying deep breathing, trying wrist acupressure, being in well ventilated space, drinking more fluids, taking ginger, fennel or cloves, and trying aromatherapy.

What is Afdispas

Afdispas is a brand name for a compound known as dicyclomine. It belongs to the class of compounds known as anticholinergics (a compound that blocks the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the central and peripheral nervous system) and antispasmodics. It is available as a tablet, capsule, syrup and an injection. Afdispas is used for the treatment of functional bowel / irritable bowel syndrome. It also has some local anesthetic properties and is used in biliary, gastrointestinal and urinary tract spasms. It has a mild effect on glandular secretion and cardiovascular system.
