Salbex Plus Information

Salbex Plus is a prescription medicine that is available as a Syrup. Secondary and off-label uses of Salbex Plus have also been mentioned below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Salbex Plus. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. The most common side effects of Salbex Plus are Constipation, Heartburn, Nausea or vomiting. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Salbex Plus as well, which are listed below. Such side effects of Salbex Plus normally do not last long and go away once the treatment is completed. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

  • Is the use of Salbex Plus safe for pregnant women?


    Salbex Plus may cause moderate side effects during pregnancy. If you feel its harmful effects, then stop taking this drug immediately, and do not take Salbex Plus again without your doctor's advice.

  • Is the use of Salbex Plus safe during breastfeeding?


    Women who are breastfeeding can experience some moderate side effects of Salbex Plus. Immediately discontinue Salbex Plus if you observe any side effects. Contact your doctor, and restart using it only if your doctor considers it safe for you.

  • What is the effect of Salbex Plus on the Kidneys?


    Kidney can be affected by Salbex Plus. If you experience any unwanted effects of this drug, stop taking it. You should take it again only after medical advice.

  • What is the effect of Salbex Plus on the Liver?


    You may experience side effects on your liver after taking Salbex Plus. If this happens, then discontinue its use. Consult your medical practitioner, do as he/she suggests.
