No, Rhovir does not prevent chickenpox. Clinical studies suggest that Rhovir alone cannot prevent chickenpox caused by varicella-zoster virus (VZV) in immunocompromised patients (weak immune system) but Rhovir can successfully treat chickenpox with the combination of other antiviral drugs.

Does Rhovir cause low blood pressure?

No, Rhovir does not cause low blood pressure (hypotension). It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug. If you are experiencing lightheadedness or blurry vision which are symptoms of low blood pressure after taking this drug then try to sit down and rest for a while till restored normal blood pressure.

No, Rhovir does not affect fertility. Animal studies have shown that Rhovir does not impair fertility. Also Rhovir induced infertility has not been reported by the patients who are taking Rhovir.
