Yes, Revelol XL is safe to use, if taken in prescribed quantity and duration as advised by the doctor. However, few side effects are observed such as dizziness, depression, tiredness, bloating, and stomach pain. If you feel any of the above- mentioned side effects after taking medicine, please consult your doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
It is recommended to avoid taking Revelol XL with aspirin, because of the concurrent use of these two medicines which can reduce the antihypertensive activity of Revelol XL. It also decreases the renal blood flow. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
Revelol XL is mainly used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Treating high blood pressure helps in reducing the complications of heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damages. It is also used to treat chest pain (angina).
Rarely Revelol XL causes hair loss. However, if you experience hair loss after taking this medicine then inform to doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
The use of Revelol XL is not safe for people who are having or have a history of heart diseases, blood circulation problems, slow heartbeats, or are allergic to beta blockers. They are advised to inform their doctors and take it only when prescribed.
