Interaction between Food and Omnapil

Interaction between Alcohol and Omnapil
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Omnapil.
Yes, Omnapil can cause diarrhea by disturbing bacterial flora of gut. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing severe diarrhea after consuming this medicine inform the doctor immediately and check if you can discontinue the medicine. Try keeping yourself hydrated, drink plenty of fluids and take ample rest.
Discontinuing Omnapil in between may promote resistant to bacteria which result in relapse of infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief. In case you feel any discomfort such as breathing difficulties and skin reactions while taking this medicine please inform your doctor immediately.
Omnapil and amoxicillin can be taken together, as there are no reported harmful interactions between them. It gives synergistic effects after taking these two medicines together. Please take if prescribed by a doctor.
