Nectar is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Nectar also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.
Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Nectar. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.
Common side effects of Nectar include Dry Mouth. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Nectar as well, which are listed below. These side effects of Nectar are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.
It is also important to note that Nectar has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. In addition, Nectar's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Nectar related warnings section.
Nectar is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Kidney Disease, Liver Disease, Drug Allergies as it can result in adverse effects. The section on Nectar contraindications lists all such conditions.

Is the use of Nectar safe for pregnant women?
Nectar may cause moderate side effects during pregnancy. If you feel its harmful effects, then stop taking this drug immediately, and do not take Nectar again without your doctor's advice.
Is the use of Nectar safe during breastfeeding?
If you are breastfeeding, you may experience some harmful effects of Nectar. In case you experience any of these, discontinue its use until you consult your doctor.
What is the effect of Nectar on the Kidneys?
There may be some adverse effects on kidney after taking Nectar. If you observe any such side effects, stop taking this drug. Consume this medicine again only if your doctor advises you to do so.
What is the effect of Nectar on the Liver?
Nectar may cause harmful effects on liver. if you feel it's having any such effect, then stop taking this drug, and restart only on your doctor's advice.

Due to lack of research, there is no information about the side effects of taking Nectar with alcohol.
Yes, Nectar can be taken with a multivitamin. No harmful interactions found between them. However, this is not necessarily mean no interaction exists. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking these two medicines at the same time.
Nectar is a brand name for paracetamol. It is an analgesic and antipyretic medication used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever. Even WHO has considered this drug to be an essential medicine for basic healthcare requirements. Paracetamol is one of the most commonly used 'over-the-counter' medicine. It is often prescribed as one of the first-line treatment options for pain and fever with minimum side effects.
Nectar is being used by pregnant women for many years without any evident harmful effects on the baby. That's why it is usually recommended as the first-line painkiller for pregnant women. But it is not possible to say that this medicine is completely safe to use in pregnancy. You are highly recommended to check with your doctor/gynaecologist before taking any medicine even [medicine] during pregnancy.
Although it's believed that Nectar works mainly in the central nervous system (Brain and Spine). It prevents the release of prostaglandin, which is responsible for increasing pain and body temperature. It effectively reduces the intensity of pain signals to the brain.
An overdose occurs when more than the required amount (toxic levels) of [medicine] is taken. Initial symptoms of Nectar overdose includes loss of appetite, drowsiness, seizures, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Later progressive symptoms may include pain in your upper stomach, dark colored urine, yellowing of your skin or the white patches in your eyes, liver damage and in rare cases, it can also lead to coma. So, by any chance, if you have accidentally taken more than the required dose of Nectar inform your doctor immediately.
