    Cetadom is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Cetadom also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

    Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Cetadom. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage.     Common side effects of Cetadom include Dry Mouth. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Cetadom as well, which are listed below. Normally, these side effects of Cetadom are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

    • Is the use of Cetadom safe for pregnant women?


      Pregnant women may experience moderate side effects from Cetadom. It is best to stop taking Cetadom immediately and inform your doctor if you notice any discomfort.

    • Is the use of Cetadom safe during breastfeeding?


      Women who are breastfeeding can experience some moderate side effects of Cetadom. Immediately discontinue Cetadom if you observe any side effects. Contact your doctor, and restart using it only if your doctor considers it safe for you.

    • What is the effect of Cetadom on the Kidneys?


      Cetadom may cause harmful effects on kidney. if you feel its having any such effect, then stop taking this drug, and restart only on your doctor's advice.

    • What is the effect of Cetadom on the Liver?


      Cetadom can have moderate side effects on the liver. If you notice any harmful effects then stop taking this drug right away. Consult your doctor before using this medicine again.

    What is the treatment for Cetadom poisoning?

    As we know Cetadom is most widely used 'over-the-counter' analgesic/antipyretic medicine. However, paracetamol overdose can cause serious adverse effects on the liver, it may be fatal. But fortunately, there is an antidote, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) given within 8 hours of Cetadom ingestion which usually can prevent all serious side effects of Cetadom poisoning. However, do not take NAC without consulting a doctor as your doctor will tell you the right way and methods to help you relieve from this drug poisoning.
