Yes, Metvio causes a cough. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you experience a severe cough after taking this medicine then inform the doctor and follow his/her instructions.
Yes, Metvio is safe to use, if taken in prescribed quantity and duration as advised by the doctor. However, few side effects are observed such as dizziness, depression, tiredness, bloating, and stomach pain. The use of Metvio is not safe for people who are having or have a history of heart diseases, blood circulation problems, slow heartbeats, or are allergic to beta blockers. They are advised to inform their doctors and take it only when prescribed.
