Lonol is a brand name of atenolol and it is available in the form of a tablet. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of drug known as beta-blockers (beta1-selective (cardioselective) adrenoreceptor blocking agent). It is used for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure), chronic stable angina (chest pain) and acute myocardial infarction.
