Question over 5 years ago

Can Kinsalic be used for ringworm?

Dr. B. K. Agrawal MBBS, MD , Cardiology, General Physician, Internal Medicine

No, Kinsalic alone should not be used for ringworm because it is a fungal infection of the skin caused by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum and Kinsalic is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi.
