Ionozem comes in the form of a tablet and ideally, it should be taken by mouth thrice daily or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food at any time of the day. Precautions must be taken in patients with liver disease, diabetes, and kidney problem.
Yes, Ionozem can cause constipation. It is a common side effect of this drug. However, if you are experiencing any unpleasant effects after taking this medicine, please consult your doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Yes, Ionozem can be taken with ibuprofen. No harmful drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking ibuprofen do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Yes, Ionozem can cause edema (swelling). It is the most common side effects of this drug. Usually swelling occurs in face, eyes, lips, tongue, hands, arms, feet and ankle. If these effects cause troublesome, then consult your doctor regarding whether this effect arises due to diltiazem consumption or not. If yes, then you can stop taking this medicine with the help of doctor because of alternate treatment are also available. However, it is dose-related effects if taken a low dose, chances of edema (swelling) are very less if consuming high dose the chances of edema (swelling) are high.
Ionozem may increase the blood level and effect of sildenafil if taken together. So, you are advised to take it on the doctor's recommendation.
