Interaction between Alcohol and Hibesor 25 Mg Tablet

Hibesor contains atenolol which is presumed to work through multiple mechanisms. It reduces blood pressure and slows down the fast heartbeat by blocking the influx of calcium ions and binding to certain receptors (beta-adrenoceptors) in the smooth muscles of heart which prevent the effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline that also contributes in decreasing myocardial (heart) oxygen demand.
Rarely, Hibesor causes hair loss (alopecia). However, the exact cause behind hair loss is unknown but it is presumed that it occurs because of thinning of the hairs which weakens their strength. If you are experiencing excessive hair loss after taking this drug then do discuss it with your doctor.
Take Hibesor as long as it is recommended by your doctor. Using this drug beyond that period might not be good for you because it can lead to unintended side effects.
