Heksi is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease.

Interaction between Alcohol and Heksi

Usually, in starting of the treatment Heksi is given once a day then its dosage is gradually increased as per the need. You are advised to take it as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food but if you experience stomach upset then take it with food. Precautions must be taken in patients with high blood pressure (hypertension), heart disease, and improper liver or kidney function.
Yes, you can take ibuprofen and Heksi together. No clinically significant drug interaction has been reported between them. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug along with ibuprofen then do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Heksi contains trihexyphenidyl which is an anticholinergic drug that works through correcting the chemical imbalance in the brain by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (neurotransmitter acetylcholine). Blockage of acetylcholine actions results in relaxation of smooth muscles which helps in improving the muscle control and reducing stiffness. In this way, Heksi provides relief to the patient from the symptoms of parkinsonism.
