Fampep is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Peptic Ulcer are some of its major therapeutic uses. Fampep also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Yes, Fampep has been reported to cause diarrhea. It is a common side effect of this medicine. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this drug. If you are experiencing excessive diarrhea after taking this drug, then consult your doctor immediately without any further delay.
Rarely, Fampep causes nausea and vomiting. It is a known side effect of this drug. If it persists or becomes severe after taking this drug then discuss with your doctor immediately.
Fampep contain famotidine. It works blocking certain receptors in the stomach (H2 receptors) which prevents the excessive secretion of stomach acid from gastric parietal cells. Hence in this way, Fampep promotes healing of stomach ulcer and provides relief in acid reflux and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
It is a prescription drug so do not take Fampep without consulting doctor. It can be harmful to the patient to take this medicine without a doctor's advice.
Take Fampep 1-2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. It has to be taken 15 - 60 minute before the meal. Do not take more than 2 tablets in a day unless recommended by the doctor.
