No, you can not buy Esofence over-the-counter. It is a prescription drug which you cannot buy directly from the pharmacy without the prescription of a healthcare practitioner.
Esofence should be taken 1 hour before the meal because the presence of food can affect the absorption of this drug from the stomach and its therapeutic benefit. Preferably it should be taken once a day in the morning before breakfast.
