Docser is a brand name for cefpodoxime. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called cephalosporins. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic, used for treating bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, gonorrhea, respiratory, ear, throat, and urinary tract infection.
Docser should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote bacterial resistance which results in a relapse of the infection. You are recommended to complete the 7 - 14 days course even after getting symptomatic relief.
