Cyclopam is available as a tablet, capsule, syrup and an injection. An oral dosage form is taken a few times a day. It is important to take Cyclopam at the same time every day so that one doesn't forget the dose. One can take Cyclopam with or without food. Taking it with food may avoid stomach upset. One must follow the recommendations of a doctor while taking Cyclopam. In some people, it might cause some side effects like dry mouth, constipation, dizziness, headache, blurred vision, etc.

Cyclopam is a brand name for a compound known as dicyclomine. It belongs to the class of compounds known as anticholinergics (a compound that blocks the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the central and peripheral nervous system) and antispasmodics. It is available as a tablet, capsule, syrup and an injection. Cyclopam is used for the treatment of functional bowel / irritable bowel syndrome. It also has some local anesthetic properties and is used in biliary, gastrointestinal and urinary tract spasms. It has a mild effect on glandular secretion and cardiovascular system.
