Carvel, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of High BP. Carvel also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Carvel. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

While these are the most often observed Carvel side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. These side effects of Carvel are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Carvel has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Safe effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Carvel has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Carvel related warnings section.

Carvel is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Diabetes, Bradycardia (Slow Heart Rate), Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) are examples of such conditions. Other contraindications of Carvel have been discussed in the sections ahead.
