Interaction between Food and Betacitam

Interaction between Alcohol and Betacitam
It is difficult to say anything about the effect of Betacitam and alcohol. No research has been done on this yet.
Betacitam is a brand name for betahistine. It is a prescription drug that belongs to the class of medication called antivertigo or betahistine analogue. It is available in a different dosage form such tablet, injection. It is commonly prescribed for balance disorders or prevents vertigo symptoms associated with Meniere's disease. It is also used to treat ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and hearing loss or hearing difficulty.
Rarely, Betacitam causes drowsiness. However, If you experience drowsy after taking this medicine then inform to doctor right away and follow his/her instructions.
Occasionally, Betacitam causes constipation. Constipation means three or fewer bowl in a week, in this case, stool become hard and dry and sometimes it is painful to pass. If you experience severe constipation after consuming this medicine, eat more fruit, vegetable, and grain which are higher in fibers. Also, drink plenty of water and take a laxative if necessary.
Yes, Betacitam can be taken with paracetamol. There are no known interactions reported between them if taken together. However, it doesn't mean that no interaction could exist. Please inform your doctor if you experience any uncomplicated sign and symptoms after consuming this drug.
No, Betacitam does not cause weight gain. However, If you experience your weight is fluctuating after taking this medicine then inform the doctor to prevent unwanted weight gain.
