Consuming limited amounts of alcohol while taking Beclorom does not cause any harmful effects. But it is best to observe caution.
Take Beclorom as advised by your doctor. Do not discontinue the drug suddenly or take it longer than prescribed by your doctor.
This is because a long-term use of Beclorom can cause Vitamin B12 deficiency. Stomach acids help in the absorption of Vitamin B 12, and this drug suppresses stomach acid which is required for the absorption of vitamin B12. Hence patients taking [medicine] for a long time have Vitamin B12 deficiency. To replenish Vitamin B12 in your body your doctor prescribes this vitamin along with this medicine.
Yes, Beclorom can be taken with an antibiotic. Taking Beclorom with a certain antibiotic can treat H.Pylori associated stomach infection. However, it is best to consult your doctor before taking these two medicines together.
