Interaction between Food and Azit Tablet
It is safe to take Azit Tablet with food.
Interaction between Alcohol and Azit Tablet
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Azit Tablet.
If you are allergic to Azit then do not take it. If you have already taken it and you are experiencing allergic reactions do not delay inform your doctor immediately.
Azit is not given for the abscess. It is not recommended for skin and soft tissue infection. Generally, a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate is given twice daily. However. it is best to consult your doctor for the right line of treatment for an abscess.
Take Azit exactly as prescribed by your doctor, do not exceed dosage. Food does not affect the absorption of azithromycin, one can take it with or without foods but to avoid stomach disturbances take it with a light meal. Complete the entire course of medicine.
Clinically no any harmful interaction has been reported between Azit and oral contraceptive pills. However, the interaction between these two can't be completely ignored. Please consult your doctor before taking these two medicines at the same time.
Yes, you can take Azit for a sore throat, if it is caused by bacteria. It's very difficult to distinguish between a sore throat caused due to a viral or bacterial infection. Hence take it only when a doctor has prescribed it to you.
