Aten, a prescription drug, is manufactured in various forms such as Tablet. Angina, High BP are some of its major therapeutic uses. Other than this, Aten has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

Rarely, Aten causes hair loss (alopecia). However, the exact cause behind hair loss is unknown but it is presumed that it occurs because of thinning of the hairs which weakens their strength. If you are experiencing excessive hair loss after taking this drug then do discuss it with your doctor.
Yes, Aten may cause weight gain. It is a rare side effect of this drug. The exact cause of weight gain is not known. However, if you are experiencing rapid weight gain after taking this drug, then you are advised to discuss it with your doctor.
Rarely, Aten causes depression. However, the exact cause of depression is not known. If you experiencing insomnia, persistent feeling of sadness, loss of appetite, loss of interest in activities which are symptoms of depression then you are advised to discuss it with your doctor without any further delay.
