Algat O is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. It is primarily used for the treatment of Conjunctivitis, Amebiasis. The alternative uses of Algat O have also been explained below.

The right dosage of Algat O depends on the age, gender, and medical history of the patient. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Algat O also has some side effects, the most common being Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhoea, Dizziness. Apart from the aforementioned side effects, Algat O can also lead to other problems, which have been listed below. Normally, these side effects of Algat O are not long lasting and go away when the treatment is finished. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

Algat O is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Brain and Nervous System, Tendon Injury (Tendinopathy) as it can result in adverse effects. The section on Algat O contraindications lists all such conditions.
