Interaction between Food and Aclovir 200 Tablet

Yes Aclovir can be taken with paracetamol. Paracetamol does not interfere with the efficacy of Aclovir. Hence, it is alright to take them together. However, if you feel any discomfort after taking this drug do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Yes, Aclovir might cause hair loss (alopecia) but it occurs very rarely. This problem goes away after discontinuation of this drug. For partial hair loss, you are advised to use hair tonic and discuss with the doctor for best possible treatment to hair loss.
Aclovir should be taken by mouth 1 - 2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food but it is preferred to take with a meal to avoid stomach upset. The topical cream should be applied gently on the affected area 5 - 6 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. After applying Aclovir, gently rub the cream till fully absorbed, then wash your hands. Precautions must be taken in patients with neurological abnormalities, and improper liver or kidney function.
No, Aclovir does not affect fertility. Animal studies have shown that Aclovir does not impair fertility. Also Aclovir induced infertility has not been reported by the patients who are taking Aclovir.
No, Aclovir does not cause low blood pressure (hypotension). It has not been reported by the patients who are taking this drug. If you are experiencing lightheadedness or blurry vision which are symptoms of low blood pressure after taking this drug then try to sit down and rest for a while till restored normal blood pressure.
