Interaction between Alcohol and Minado Tablet
Due to lack of research, nothing can be said about side effects of consuming alcohol while taking Minado Tablet.
Minado is a prescription drug, hence do not take it without consulting doctor. It can be harmful to the patients to take this medicine without a doctor's advice.
Minado can be taken 1-2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with food or milk to avoid nausea and other stomach related problem. Precautions must be taken in patients with heart diseases, peptic ulcer, and improper liver or kidney function. You should strictly take this drug if prescribed only.
Minado contains naproxen (which is a pain-killer) that works by reversibly inhibiting enzymes (cyclooxygenase-1 and -2 also known as COX-1 and -2) which produces prostaglandin. Prostaglandin is presumed to be responsible for causing pain and inflammation in the body. Inhibition of these enzymes results in decreased synthesis of prostaglandins which provides relief to the patient from pain and inflammation caused by arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Rarely, Minado causes stomach cramps. It is a known side effect of this drug. If you experience severe stomach cramps after taking this drug then discuss it with your doctor immediately.
Yes, Minado can be taken for gout since it contains naproxen that belongs to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which possess anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-killer) activity.
