Rarely Zedocef DXL can cause neurotoxicity. It is a reversible side effect of this drug, the symptoms caused due to drug-induced neurotoxicity often disappear after this drug is stopped. Zedocef DXL should be ideally taken with food(a light meal). Take this medicine in the required quantity and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Discontinuing the medicine in between may promote bacterial resistance which results in a relapse of the infection.
