Hence Niosol F should not be used for the treatment of ringworm. For the treatment of ringworm, you can use a combination of Niosol F and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.

Niosol F contains clobetasol which is presumed to work by promoting the induction of inhibitory proteins (lipocortins) in the body. Lipocortins prevents the release of arachidonic acid which causes synthesis and release of certain chemicals such as histamine, leukotrienes, and prostaglandins that causes inflammation. In this way Niosol F prevents the skin inflammation which provides relief to the patient from rash, itching, and redness.
