Yes, Clomic F might cause dry skin in few cases only. However, the exact cause behind dry skin is unknown. If you are experiencing excessive dryness of skin after applying this drug then you are advised to use a skin moisturizer. Skin moisturizer should be applied only after 30 minutes of applying this drug so that the Clomic F can be absorbed by the skin.
Clomic F is used for the short-term treatment up to 2 weeks and if required then maximum up to 4 weeks. You are advised to use it as directed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine longer than prescribed by your doctor to avoid the unpleasant side effect.
Yes, Clomic F might lighten skin because it causes skin atrophy (skin thinning) which reduces the darkness of the skin. However, Clomic F is not approved for skin lightening and should not be used for this purpose because it can cause unpleasant side effects.
No, Clomic F alone should not be used for ringworm because it is a fungal infection of the skin caused by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum and Clomic F is not an antifungal agent and it is not effective against fungi. Hence Clomic F should not be used for the treatment of ringworm. For the treatment of ringworm, you can use a combination of Clomic F and antifungal drugs such as miconazole and fluconazole.
