Axovir Information

Axovir is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Injection, Tablet. Herpes, Shingles, Cold Sores are some of its major therapeutic uses. Other than this, Axovir has some other therapeutic uses, which have been discussed ahead.

How to take Axovir?

Axovir should be taken by mouth 1 - 2 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food but it is preferred to take with a meal to avoid stomach upset. The topical cream should be applied gently on the affected area 5 - 6 times in a day or as advised by your doctor. After applying Axovir, gently rub the cream till fully absorbed, then wash your hands. Precautions must be taken in patients with neurological abnormalities, and improper liver or kidney function.
