Amrox is a prescription drug, available for use as Syrup. The alternative uses of Amrox have also been explained below.

Medical history of the patient along with age and gender determines the dosage of Amrox. The condition it has been prescribed for, and the route of administration also determine the right dosage. This information has been provided in detail in the dosage section.

Amrox also has some side effects, the most common being Constipation, Heartburn, Nausea or vomiting. While these are the most often observed Amrox side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Amrox go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.

It is also important to note that Amrox has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. Amrox is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Gastrointestinal Bleeding, Asthma, Smoking Addiction as it can result in adverse effects. Other contraindications of Amrox have been discussed in the sections ahead.
