Filda is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction, Pulmonary Hypertension. Filda also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

Yes, you can take Filda if you suffering from high blood pressure. Erectile dysfunction is often found in men with high blood pressure because of the hardening of the blood vessels in the penis region. Sometimes, erectile dysfunction also indicates that a person might have high blood pressure. Although Filda causes small but clinically insignificant fall in blood pressure levels in men with both normal and high blood pressure. However, if you are experiencing dizziness or fluctuations in blood pressure after taking this medicine do not hesitate to inform your doctor.
Filda works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase-5 enzyme in the corpus cavernosum, leading to smooth muscle relaxation (vasodilation). This smooth muscle relaxation leads to vasodilation and increases the flow of blood in the penis causing an erection.
Yes, you can take Filda with antipsychotic medicine, erectile dysfunction is a common side effect associated with antipsychotics drug therapy. Please consult your doctor if you experience any medical complication after consuming these two medicines at the same time.
Filda is usually taken only when needed. Take 30 - 60 minute before intercourse and at least 2 hours after the meal or before meal. If taken on a full stomach, Filda there may be a delay in the onset of action. It is also important to avoid citrus fruits, especially grapefruit, after taking medicine because it affects the absorption of a drug. Please take after discussing with your doctor.
