No, Linid does not cause hair loss (alopecia). It has not been associated with hair loss till now. If you are experiencing any unusual hair loss after using this drug and you are in doubt that Linid is causing this effect then do discuss it with your doctor.
Yes, Linid can treat UTI (urinary tract infection) but it is not generally preferred as a first line drug of choice for the treatment of UTI. It is only prescribed in UTI when other drugs are not effective in treating the infection.
