Take Doxolin 2-3 times a day or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food because food does not affect the absorption of medicine from the gut. Precautions must be taken in patients with renal (kidney) & hepatic (liver) dysfunction, peptic ulcer, hypothyroidism, and cardiac disease.
Doxolin contains doxofylline which is a bronchodilator. It works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase enzyme that causes smooth muscle relaxation. This results in breathing easily during COPD and bronchial asthma.
