    Ropark is a prescription medicine that is available as a Tablet. Primarily, it is used for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease, Restless Legs Syndrome. Ropark also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

    The optimal dosage of Ropark is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Individual symptoms and route of administration also determines the right dosage. Detailed information has been provided in the dosage section.

    Common side effects of Ropark include Sleepiness, Weakness, Influenza like symptoms. Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Ropark as well, which are listed below. These side effects of Ropark are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

    Furthermore, you should know that effect of Ropark is Moderate for pregnant women and Severe for women who are breastfeeding.     Ropark Dosage & How to Take

    This is the usual dosage recommended in most common treatment cases. Please remember that every patient and their case is different, so the dosage can be different based on the disease, route of administration, patient's age and medical history.

    • Disease: Parkinson's Disease
    • Before or After Meal: Either
    • Single Maximum Dose: 0.25 mg
    • Dosage Form: Tablet (Immediate Release)
    • Dosage Route: Oral
    • Frequency: 3 daily
    • Course Duration: As directed by the doctor
    • Special Instructions: Dose gradually increase 0.25 mg weekly on first 4 weeks, then 1.5 mg weekly basis, final dose given 8 mg TID
    Geriatric
    • Disease: Parkinson's Disease
    • Before or After Meal: Either
    • Single Maximum Dose: 0.25 mg
    • Dosage Form: Tablet (Immediate Release)
    • Dosage Route: Oral
    • Frequency: 3 daily
    • Course Duration: As directed by the doctor
