By blocking the enzyme, the production of acid is decreased, and this helps to relieve the stomach from acidity, heartburn, GERD, stomach ulcer and other acidity related stomach problem.
Yes, Pentopen helps in the preventing and healing the ulcer. It is one of the main uses of this drug. However, your doctor may also suggest other medicines to heal stomach ulcers completely.
Yes, Pentopen can be taken with sucralfate, take it at least 30 minutes before consuming sucralfate. If you experience any unwanted side effects after taking these two medicines at the same time then inform the doctor immediately and follow his/her instructions.
