Tsart M is the brand name for telmisartan. It belongs to a group of medications known as angiotensin II receptor blockers. It is available in the form of tablets. Tsart M is used to treat hypertension. It is also used to decrease cardiovascular risk in patients who cannot take ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitors.
Tsart M contains telmisartan which is an antihypertensive drug that works by preventing a chemical (angiotensin II) to bind with a receptor. In this way Tsart M decreases the blood pressure.
