Plagerine A primarily relieves pain because it is an analgesic. It also reduces inflammations (swellings) arising due to injuries and infections in the body. Apart from being an analgesic, it works by preventing strokes and other heart-related disorders by, the blood and reducing thromboxane (a chemical) responsible for making the platelets sticky. Hence by this action, it prevents blood clots which further prevents strokes and heart blockages.
