Yocef is a prescription drug, available for use as Tablet. Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Infection, Bacterial Infections are some of its major therapeutic uses. Yocef also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The optimal dosage of Yocef is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Dosage also depends on the route of administration and your chief complaint for which the drug is prescribed. Refer to the dosage section for a detailed discussion.

Besides the aforementioned side effects, there are other adverse effects of Yocef as well, which are listed below. Usually, these side effects of Yocef go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Please speak with your doctor if these side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

It is also important to note that Yocef has a Moderate effect for pregnant women and Moderate effect on lactating mothers. It is important to know if Yocef has any effect on the kidney, liver and heart. Information on such adverse effects, if any, has been given in the Yocef related warnings section.

Individuals suffering from medical conditions like Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, Myasthenia Gravis (MG) must refrain from the use of Yocef since this can cause severe adverse effects. Some other conditions that can be affected by Yocef are listed in the contraindications section below.
