Ojen is a commercial drug that is prescribed in the form of Tablet, Suspension. It is primarily used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Ear Infection, Bacterial Infections. Ojen also has some secondary and off-label uses. These are listed below.

The optimal dosage of Ojen is largely dependent on the individual's body weight, medical history, gender and age. Besides the medical condition it is advised for, the route of administration also plays an important role in determining the correct drug dosage. While these are the most often observed Ojen side effects, there are can be others also. These have been listed below. Usually, these side effects of Ojen go away soon, and do not persist beyond the duration of the treatment. Consult your doctor if these side effects become worse or stay for a longer duration.

Furthermore, you should know that effect of Ojen is Moderate for pregnant women and Moderate for women who are breastfeeding. In addition, Ojen's effects on the liver, heart and kidney are discussed below in the Ojen related warnings section.

Ojen is not recommended if you suffer from certain medical conditions as it can have adverse effects. Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, Myasthenia Gravis (MG) are examples of such conditions. Other contraindications of Ojen have been discussed in the sections ahead.
