Rarely, Nirzolid causes a headache. It is an uncommon side effect of this drug. However, the exact cause of a headache is unknown. If you experience a severe headache after taking this drug, take a mild painkiller, apply balm and take rest even after this if the pain does not subside then discuss with your doctor immediately.
Rarely, Nirzolid causes fever and chills. If you are experiencing fever after taking this drug then try to take mild antipyretic medicine such as paracetamol even after this fever does not subsidise then discuss with your doctor and follow his/her instructions.
The dosage of this drug may vary depending on the type of infection and severity of the infection. Usually, oral Nirzolid is recommended to be taken twice daily or as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Precautions must be taken in patients with phenylketonuria, diabetes mellitus, and improper kidney function.
